How much does it cost for a website?

Great question! We hear it all the time. Websites can range from $500 to $100,000K+. It all depends on your needs. For us, websites typically range from $1,500 and up. That might sound like a lot, but if you look at some of our competition in Jacksonville, we think you will find it very competitive. Keep in mind, everything we do is done here in Jacksonville.

What about free websites? 

There are a few options out there to design your website for free. Companies like WIX come to mind. Keep in mind that with WIX you never own your website. You are stuck with them forever. Truth be told, we can make a lot more money changing US prices and outsourcing, but the quality suffers. We have worked with India before, and it can be and has been a total nightmare. Be sure when you are shopping web design companies to ask if the work is done in the USA or abroad.

How long does it take to build a website?

For a relatively small website - 10 pages or less, we can usually have your website completed in about a month. Larger websites may take longer, and we will quote as best we can when we see your project.

What do I need to provide for my website design?

We typically ask you for a few examples of websites you like so we can create a mock-up for you to review. You will also need to provide us with the content for the website; in other words, what goes on the pages. This has proven in the past to be the longest hold up in terms of getting a site launched on time. Many customers simply do not have the time to sit and write content for their websites. It is harder than it sounds, I promise. This page alone took more than 2 hours to write. We recommend at least 300-500 words on every page if you want to rank well in search engines (this one is 1500).  

Can you create copy / content for our website?

Absolutely! Our copywriter Blair does excellent work and has been creating compelling copy for our clients for years. His content is also SEO focused, helping you rank better in search engines. Blair has done content on pretty much any subject you out there. We also create copy for blog posts to help keep your websites fresh and give your customers helpful information on your products or services.

Where do I get images for my website?

We highly recommend taking your own images for your website. Almost any modern phone can take great pictures. We can edit them and make them pop for you. Having your own images makes your website feel more genuine and gives customers a better idea of your company. Most customers can spot a stock photo from a mile away. There is nothing worse than seeing the same image over and over again. That said, sometimes you need stock photos and have you covered. We have access to every photo on bigstockphoto.com. We can get any images you need for your site from that site at no charge. It is part of our web design package.

How much do website updates cost?

If you already have a website and want updates done, or new pages added, we charge $75 per hour. Unlike other companies in Jacksonville and St. Augustine that bill you for an hour with a small update, we charge in 15-minute increments saving you money. We will always provide you with an estimate of how long your website updates will take.
